Chiranjeevi's 'Bhola Shankar': A Megastar's Comeback with Action-packed Thrills"
Megastar Chiranjeevi is back with a new movie, "Bhola Shankar," following the massive success of "Vaulteer Veerayya." This movie, which Mehru Ramesh directed, has been shown to the world today after a ten-year hiatus since his last appearance on the megaphone. Let's get started with our review to learn how the movie did.
Story: Taxi driver Shankar (Chiranjeevi) and his sister Mahalakshmi (Keerthi Suresh) travel to Kolkata so that she can pursue her education. throughout the meantime, Alex (Tarun Arora) and his mafia crew kidnap ladies throughout the city. Alex seeks retaliation on Shankar when he assists the police in exposing one of their kidnappings. What follows is what? Did Alex succeed in hurting Shankar? Shankar, who is he? How did he get here? When you see the main movie, the answers to these queries will become clear.
Plus: Megastar Chiranjeevi always provides the best entertainment for his followers since he is aware of their needs. His magnetism appeals to the audience in this movie as well. Once more displaying his remarkable talent, Chiranjeevi excels in both dramatic and action-packed moments.
Keerthi Suresh is excellent in her role, and her performance is strong. In this movie, she has a nice emotional stage. Despite having little screen time, Tamannaah Bhatia still gives her all. She looks gorgeous. Sushant, Murali Sharma, and the rest of the actors were excellent fits for their parts.
The action scenes are expertly staged, and the cinematography really enhances the film. Thanks to Doodle’s outstanding work, the choreography, particularly during the battle scenes, stands out.
Negative Elements: The story lacks originality in any scenario and feels stale. Chiranjeevi makes an effort to elevate the movie with his acting in the humor and action parts, but sadly there aren’t any standout moments. The direction of director Mehru Ramesh falls short as he battles to keep the audience interested. Both halves’ treatment of some scenes should have been improved. One anticipates greater tunes and upbeat dancing sequences in a Chiru movie. Sadly, the movie is missing both, and the score is also not very good. The impact of Sagar Mahati’s enchanting voice is not fully realized.
Many of the characters in the movie don’t do much to advance the plot. The parts that actors like Uttej, Raja Ravindra, Brahmanandam, and others may have played could have been more important.
Only appearing in a few sequences, Tamannaah is not given enough opportunities to show off her acting. Although the comedic parts are passable, they should be handled better to appeal to family audiences. Technical aspects: Mehru Ramesh blew a tremendous chance to create a fantastic Vedalam replica. Chiru's character is beautifully developed, however the screenplay is not properly written. The result might have been different if the narrative had received greater consideration.
Mahati Sagar, a composer of music, has failed to make an impact. Editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh could have been more effective. The cinematography in Doodle is attractive and improves the viewing experience. Excellent production values.
Conclusion: “Bhola Shankar,” which features good performances from Chiranjeevi and Keerthi Suresh, is an average action movie overall. Comedy in both half is effective. Keep your expectations in check while watching the movie because it has a meandering story and extraneous segments.
